Our method is the 4D Barrier Pest Defense System: four treated zones — the fence line, the yard, the home perimeter, and interior entry points. Scorpions shelter in block walls, landscape rock and valve boxes and hunt the insects around the house, so treating only where you saw one leaves the source untouched.
You can look for the obvious signs — mud tubes on the stem wall, discarded wings, hollow-sounding timber — but a lender will want the official Arizona Wood Destroying Insect Report, and that has to come from an inspector.
